On the left are the fields with clothes and other textiles being spread out to the sun.Numbered on the bottom right corner: '11'. Eleventh from a set of twelve views of the surroundings of Haarlem.The plate was also used in G. Tysens 'Haarlemmer Duinzang, ter eere van des zelfs vermákelyke Land- en Watergeziten, van Sandvoort af tot Haarlem. Versierd met twaalf naaukeurige Afbeeldingen', published in Amsterdam in 1728. Etching on laid paper trimmed within plate mark; total: 100 x 154 mm; in good condition. Traces of previous mounting on verso. Hollstein 159, Simon 137.
