Third plate of a set used as border-illustrations alternating with Dutch text in letterpress around the 'Map of the land and waters of North Holland and West Friesland' (kaart van Noord Holland) of Joost Jansz Beeldsnijder, republished in 1608 by Herman Allartsz van Warmenhuysen in Amsterdam. Etching on paper, with margins; plate mark: 104 x 156 mm; total: 124 x 166 mm; in very good condition; mounted on cardboard mat; Hollstein 118, Simon 120.
