Description: Samson holding up a fist, menacing his father in law, leaning out of a window, refusing the younger man to come in.After a painting by Rembrandt in Berlin (Gemäldegalerie, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, inv./cat.nr 802). Date of print 1756, made in Potsdam. Etching on paper, trimmed within margins and plate mark; total: 221 x 181 mm; mounted on cardboard with scribblings in French in pen and blue and black ink. Previously pasted down on another sheet of paper and then mounted on the cardboard. Overall in good condition. Corpus of Rembrandt Paintings 1982-2015 , vol. 3 (1989), no.
