Corrigée a[reés les Nouvelles Observations du S.r D’ANVILLE et autres Geographes. A AMSTERDAM, Chez ELWE & LANGEVELD. MDCCLXXXVI. This map dates almost one hundred years later than its first Parisian edition, and it was updated with the indications of Jean-Baptiste Bourguignon d' Anville (1697-1782). In the cartouche on the bottom right, the last line was modified with the Milles de Lombardie... as reported by d'Anville. Hand colored etching and engraving on laid paper; plate mark: 448 x 548 mm, total: 546 x 642 mm; besides some smudges along the margins in very good condition. On top corners on the verso, 19th-century handwritten notes in pen and brown ink.
