Description: From a set of 100 numbered engraved prints including the title-print, all printed in red or reddish brown some with 2 different shades to make a duotone. Possibly from the first edition of an attractive and entertaining series of caricature prints, showing fashions and foibles among society folk of Augsburg.The caricatures were conceived, painted and drawn by the lawyer, artist, illustrator and portraitist Joseph Franz von Göz (1754-1815), credited with the creation of the first graphic novel (Leonardo und Blandine, 1783). Plate 32 is titled: 'Et moi je l'ai touvée.' represents a standing man in profile. Dressed in eighteenth-century attire, with his left hand in a pocket. Signed below: 'J.f.De Göz delineavit / R. Brichet Sculp', with address below: 'Se vend a' Augsb. dans le Neg. comun del'Acad...' Numbered above on the right. Etching and engraving on laid paper with broad margins; platemark: 182 x 132 mm, total: 382 x 270 mm; printed á la poupée with two different shades of red ink; damp stain on the bottom left corner, smudges and dirt due to handling, some minor tears on the external margins.
