Description: Bateaux de Harlem à Amsterdam, after Reinier Nooms also known as Zeeman, 1850. Ships on a stormy sea, with a coast visible in the distance. Added by hand at the bottom: ‘C.M. d’après Zeeman.’ On the same sheet: ‘les Moutons’ after Salmon, four sheep in a meadow, one standing and three lying down. Etching on chine collé; plate mark (moutons): 126 x 149 mm, plate mark (bateaux): 66 x 126 mm, total 309 x 231 mm; Delteil 14, II/4; Schneiderman 17, II/4.
