In oval frame, lettered at the top: LILIUM INTER SPINAS, within further rectangular frames. Inscribed under the portrait: LUCAS TRELCATIUS PATER, S.S.Theologiae Professor. With address of van der AA: Lugd. Bat. ex Officina Petri Vander Aa. Included in Van der Aa's Fundatoris, Curatorum et Professorum celeberrimorum aliorumque illustrium virorum... published in Leiden between 1715 and 1716. . Engraving with some etching on paper from three plates; with broad margins; plate mark: 350 x 254 mm, total: 420 x 328 mm: despite some light brown stains and very light smudges on the margins, in very good condition.
