Inscribed under the portrait: ANTHONIUS MATTHAEUSJuris Professor Lugd. Bat.Listed among the professors in Leiden, collected by van der Aa in the Fundatoris, Curatorum et Professorum celeberrimorum aliorumque illustrium virorum... published in Leiden between 1715 and 1716, nr. 75. Engraving with some etching on paper from three plates; larger plate mark: 350 x 254 mm, total: 420 x 331 mm; despite some very light staining on the most external margin, in very good condition.
