The small plate is signed on the bottom: P.d.M. sc. Standing woman holding a child. Chalon's drawings are extremely intimate and cute. These impressions are hand colored, which makes them even more pleasant. Hand-colored etchings on paper; plate: 130 x 82 mm, total: 200 x 117 mm; the surface somewhat scratched; smudges on the bottom. Published in Amsterdam by Willem van Vliet, 1793.
