Description: Print with a study of two hands breaking bread (?) a detail from another representation and a study of a naked foot in profile. Monogrammed on the bottom right: I.H.V.W... Possibly after Carracci's publication. The Carracci collected drawings and reproductions of his own and other masters' works in albums for amateurs and young artists to copy from. Apparently, also van Woensel still used the same pedagogic method, at least two centuries later. Etching on paper with margins, plate mark: 196 x 118 mm, total: 236 x 168 mm; in outstanding condition. The Hague, made between 1800-1850.
