Description: Figures approaching a ruined building. Large tree beyond the ruin. Very nice shading work with the pencil. Monogrammed on the bottom left: M.j.S.. Drawing on paper, pencil and black chalk; total: 265 x 224 mm; the drawing has been sitting in a passepartout for a while, and the paper is slightly cooked on the region exposed to the light; otherwise in good condition.
