On the sides of the foreground, trees. On the top left the moon appearing among clouds. Monogrammed on the verso: E.S.. Drawing on paper, pencil and pen with black ink, highlights in white chalk; washed in grey; total: 257 x 290 mm; despite some folding along the margins, in good condition.
