Description: View on a terrace looking over a canal and some buildings. On the terrace the statue of a woman standing on a pedestal. The same statue appears mirrored in an etching from the set of designs Zaal-stucken in 't Huys van de H. D. B. Mezquita, at the British Museum S.5173.Not signed, however the lines and the style of the trees are similar to other drawings by Moucheron in Brussels, at the Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België (inv.20030000). Drawing on laid paper, black chalk washed in grey; total: 272 x 189 mm; mounted on cardboard, in passepartout.
