The building on the left faces the river on which are boats. On the background a hilly landscape and on the right a piece of the city. Signed on the bottom: 'Israel Silvestre fecit / Israel ex. cum privil Regis.Two prints from the set published in 1652, with 30 plates with different views on France:2. Veuë du Chasteau de Villeroy, appartenant à Mr le Mareschal de Villeroy, Duc et Pair de France. 3. Veuë de la Maison de Monsieur le Coigneux President au Mortier au Parlement de Paris, scize au faubourg Sainct Germain.Views on the castles with figures in the foreground. Etching on paper, trimmed to plate; total: 1. 105 x 162 mm, 2. 96 x 178mm, 3. 107 x 179 mm; some damages along the margins, especially the top corners are in some cases missing, probably due to previous mountings.
