Area around the cut out stars is slightly foxed. Perforated holes for illumination. Overall state is good. OPT097 Illuminated optica view of Paris, as seen from the Seine. In the distance the Royal palace is portrayed. The windows and light sources of the buildings and the stars are perforated (dots and cut outs). At the back of the print we see that the holes are covered with see-through paper. Some of the holes are covered with red, green and yellow paint. This gives the illusion of lights when the print is held in front of a light source. The corners of the frame are reinforced. (Parijs)
