Description: The Virgin kneeling on the left, the Angel announcing to her on the right, kneeling on a cloud. The dove of the Holy Ghost appearing from above, surrounded by angels and cherubs. Very sweet image. From an edition of the Missale Romanum, likely published in Antwerp in the seventeenth century. Monogrammed on the bottom right: 'ML'. Engraving on paper with additional framing lines in black and red ink; plate mark: 272 x 166, total: 324 x 215 mm; letterpress on the verso; some soil due to handling on the bottom left; small stain on the forehead of the Virgin.
