Description: Landscape with, in foreground at centre, St George on horseback and the dragon, at left figures fleeing towards cliff, on top of which are figures onlooking; scene sometimes identified as Bellerophon slaying the Chimaera. The original drawing by Lorrain is at the British Museum (1957,1214.79). The print preserves the same direction of the drawing. Inscription on the bottom:'Claudio Gillee Inu. Con licenza de sup. An 1666 Dom Barriere sculp. Etching on paper, trimmed within plate mark; total: 198 x 253 mm
