Description: The stage of the Amsterdam Theater with a representation of the so called 'Old Gallery'. Lettered on the bottom:'De aloude Hofgallery. Bezwijk niet Orondaat: bezwijk ook niet, Heldin, Maar toon dat gy verdiende uw Alexanders min. De liefde zal, schoon zy veroorzaakt al dit lijden, U, door Roxane: U, door Perdikkas, noch bevrijden.' Realized with three plates: one of the stage, another for the proscenium arch, public and orchestra and a third for the text on the bottom. The second plate is signed:'Te Amsterdam by J.
