Title: L'ivrogne et sa femme.
Description: First half of the 18th century lithography representing a scene from the third book of Tales by Jean de La Fontaine: the drunk man and his wife. The story tells that a man came back home for the umpteenth time drunk to the bones. The wife decide to place the husband in a prepared coffin surrounding it with tools reminding of a funeral. When the man wakes up he thinks he is dead and mistakes the approaching wife - dressed in white as a sort of ghost - for a ghost. On the bottom right reference to the lithographer:'Lith. de G.
