This extraordinary book, dedicated to the Prince and Princess of Wales for their silver-wedding day, contains a calendar of wedding days. Each day has a quote and a free space to write down who married that day. Most pages contain four days. The margins are decorated with red drawings that correspond to the month and season which is described. For instance May is illustrated with beautiful blossom trees while September shows thistles and cherubs making wine. This book is a great example of Cranes humour and inventiveness. B2325
