Spine and marbled boards are as usually somewhat chafed (corners more so) and top of spine is worn but complete. The interior, however, is very good apart from some browning of title-page. Tight, good copy. ¶ author was university professor and director of children's dept. of the Royal Charité Hospital in Berlin, and is well-known of the Henoch-Schönlein syndrome. Text in German.
