Description: Lelis (i.e. Caen), F. Goderfe (i.e. Chalopin), (ca. 1820). Original blue paper wrapper, 24pp. With woodcut medaillon-portrait on the titlepage (supposedly of Ulenspiegel, but used in other chapbooks by Chalopin as was usually the case). The imprint should be read as "à Sillé [le Guillaume] chez Deforge, rue de Mayenne". But the bookseller Deforge died in 1809 and this is in fact a pirate edition by Pierre-Jean-Aime é Chalopin, printer in Caen from 1777? to 1822.
