A kind of strange addition to the proceeding two volumes; numbering of the chapters is curious (starting with Chapter XXI), but this volume has the same binding as the others. All: "Met toestemming van den schrijver en de uitgevers in het Nederlandsch bewerkt. Met platen en kaarten". With many woodengraved plates (some full-page) and two folding tables; the first 24 pages in volume one form the publisher's example of the coming edition, with the price for the complete set (f 27,00 for the standard- and f 125,00 for the luxury-edtion). Corners somewhat bumped and other very light traces of use; good set.
