Contemporary overlapping full vellum (not original?), (XXXII), 342, (30)pp. Ca. 20 x 15 cm.Titlepage within thin ornamental outline; capitals with woodcut initials; at the end a woodcut sailing-ship with shooting canon. Some pages browned; a few corners missing a small piece of paper (no loss of text); vellum cover wrinkled; hinges damaged; author's name on spine; otherwise a good copy. Very rare dissertation by Joseph Martinez del Villar; he was bishop of Barbastro in Huesca in Aragón, in the north of Spain. It handles about the education of orphan pupils to the best of their abilities.
