Original gilt full-leather binding, XLVII+I, 580+114pp. Ca. 41,5 x 29,5 cm.In the present (facsimile) edition the autograph copy by Lambert of Saint Omer in the University of Ghent Library (Ms 92) is printed in its entirety for the first time. With i.a. numerous tipped-in colour-plates and folding pages. The last 114 pages contain the transcription of the texts on the plates. This publication was issued to commemorate the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of The State University of Ghent during the rectorship of Prof. J.J. Bouckaert. The enterprise was undertaken under the supervision of an editorial committee, consisting of Prof. E.I. Strubbe (Chairman), Prof. K.G. van Acker (Vice-chairman), Prof. R. Derolez, Prof. R.C. van Caenegem, Prof. A. de Schryver and Mr. A. Derolez (secretary). The executive editor was Mr. A. Derolez, Curator of the manuscripts in The University Library. Edition limited to six hundred and seventy-five copies, seventy-five of which - numbered I to LXXV - were printed for the University Council, and six hundred - numbered 1 to 600 - to be offered for sale. This is number 469. The binding is somewhat discoloured; otherwise a very good copy.
