First edition; printed in 5000 copies; 162x120mm; pp.(28); with 7 illustrations (: 6 full-page) by Michail Larionov in an innovative, geometrical abstract style - a co-öperation with Mayakovski: Mayakovski invited Larionov, who lived in Paris since 1917, to illustrate his poem and took the results with him from Paris to Moscow. Larionov re-used his designs for Solnce at the same time for independent graphics, such as Bauhaus Mappe 4 (1923). Frontcover chipped at edges with some loss and tears (strengthened with removable tape), some inkscribblings and light stamps on backcover, 2 small stamps inside.
