Cover-edges slightly frayed, 4 spots reinforced with paper on the inside, (sending-) fold through the middle, but all in all a good copy of one of the last polemical publications of the futurists, started as an almanac; the planned no. 2 was never issued. The cover-design with its enormous characters was clearly inspired by the English vorticist periodical Blast; the title derived from the second contribution in this book, an essay by Mayakovski on futurism that TOOK the whole world in its grip.
