Title: Phoenix Britannicus: being a miscellaneous collection of scarce and curious tracts, historical, political, biographical, Satirical, Critical, Characteristical, &c. Prose and Verse.
Description: London: printed for the compiler, and T. Edlin, at the Prince's Arms, against Exeter Exchange in the Strand; and J. Wilford, at the Three Golden Flower-de-Luces, behind the Chapter-House, St. Paul's, 1732. 0. Hardcover. Quarto. [6], viii, [4], 96, ii, [2], 99-584pp. In six parts with continuous pagination and register. All published. Contemporary quarter calf over marbled boards. With the ownership inscription of Thomas Crawley-Boevey. ESTC T101295. Please note following defects: The outer margin of pages i-vi of the preface is very closely cropped and do touch the text, although legibility does not seem to be a problem. This same type of trimming continues to affect the first 75-80 pages of the first part, both at the outer margin and sometimes at the lower margin. The price has been adjusted to reflect these faults. Good.
