Presentation copy from Dr. (Thomas) Archibald Malloch (1887-1953) to Wroth. His father was also Dr. Archibald Malloch (1844-1919). Dr. Thomas Archibald Malloch was appointed librarian of the New York Academy of Medicine in 1925 where he devoted himself to developing that library into the second largest collection of its kind in the United States. He was a president of the Medical Library Association and an honorary consultant to the United States Army Medical Library, and his expert advice was always at the service of students of medical history. This item came from a large collection of bibliographical items belonging to Lawrence Wroth, along with items from A.N.L. Munby and Thomas Streeter's collections. Very Good.
