With the hand-made bookplate of Peter Eives, Junior; which reads: "Peter Eives, Jnr. His Book 1726." In the front free endpaper, a note states "Joshua Wilson the gift of Mrs. Alexander Oct 23 1824." On-line entries identify a Peter Eives, wheelwright of Cranley, in Surrey, from a will dated 7 May, 1742. In his will, he mentions his son Peter, who, in 1742, was apparently not yet 21 years old. The Peter Eives, Jnr. in question may be either one of these two. Very Good.
