Title: Regional Planning Report on Oxfordshire
Description: London, Oxford University Press. 1931. Hardcover. Used, Hard cover, no jacket, in good condition. From the collection of John Steane, the former county archaeologist for Oxfordshire, a founder member of the Oxford Buildings Record and the Oxfordshire Buildings Trust. This volume belonged originally to Patrick Abercrombie, (author), ownership penned to FEP. Also enclosed within is a personal letter to Abercrombie dated 30.11.1931, gently pointing out an apparant error to one of the map scales within. General shelf and handling wear, including tanning, bumping and wear to board edges, corners, and spine head and foot. Boards are bowed, with small hinge splits at the spine head; a small section of spine covering is detached and has been glued into place. Roughcut pageblock is tanned and foxed, this leading into pastedowns, endpapers, and, sporadically throughout. Pull-out maps are in fine condition generally, light foxing and occasional mini closed tears at hinge, colours vibrant and true. Pages well bound, content clear and bright. CN. Good/No Dust Jacket.
