Collected from the Journals of both Houses, the records, original manuscripts, scarce speeches, and tracts; all compared with the several contemporary writers, and connected, throughout, with the history of the times; by several hands. Bookplate of Sir Edmund Antrobus on the front pastedown. Age related wear to the boards and spine; a few abrasions on the boards; frayed leading corners and some fading / peeling on the spine. Sporadic tanning and foxing on the pages throughout. The closing couple of blank pages are creased. The binding remains sound and all text is clear. CM. Very Good.
