Hand bound 'Oriel College' re-binding, with small array of associated stamps, including one to pageblock foot. Bookplate of William Abel Pantin, an Honorary Fellow of Oriel College, is adhered to front pastedown, name panned to FEP. Further bookplate present. General shelf and handling wear, including fading, creasing and wear to boards, edges and bumped corners, with crumpling to spine head and foot. Age-related discolouration and tanning to pageblock, leading into page edges. Gutterbreak noted at pages 288-289, however, pages remain securely bound. A notable number of leaves remain uncut at textblock head, content is unmarked. CN. Good/No Dust Jacket.
