Hand bound 'Oriel College' re-binding, with small array of associated stamps, including one to pageblock foot. Bookplate of William Abel Pantin, an Honorary Fellow of Oriel College, is adhered to front pastedown. General shelf and handling wear, including tanning, creasing and wear to boards, edges and (bumped) corners. Spine head and foot are notably worn, including small splits, tears and chips. Age-related discolouration, tanning and foxing to pageblock, occasionally within. Hinge breaks at front and rear pastedowns, gutterbreak at 160-161, however leaves remain securely bound. Occasional light pencil underlining and light notes at REP, otherwise content clear and clean. CN. Good/No Dust Jacket.
