Age related wear, sunning and some marks on the boards and spines; bumped and frayed leading corners and spine ends. Bookplate and a small amount of pen on each front pastedown. Some splits to the inner rear hinge on vol.1. Some instances of foxing and marks on the pages (mostly the opening sections). Most of the pages are uncut (sealed on the upper edges). The binding generally remains sound (occasionally visible between a few pages) and the text is clear. CM. Good.
