Ex-libris plate of author George MacDonald Fraser (1925-2008) on front pastedown. Boards are marked and scuffed, and edges, corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Closed tear on the spine, and spine is slightly cocked. Page block is tanned and lightly foxed, as are the pastedowns, endpapers, and a few of the pages. Semi gutter breaks noted at a few places within, however pages remain soundly bound, and clear and bright throughout. LW. Acceptable/No Dust Jacket.
