A New Collation of the Persian, Susian, and Babylonian Texts, with English Translations. Ex-library, from Christ Church, Oxford. Faded, worn and scored boards and spine; splits and bumps to the leading corners and edges. The spine ends are torn and frayed, also with splits to the spine sides. Shelfmark label on spine foot. Gilt edged page block head; rough cut on the face and foot. Labels and stamp remains on the front pastedown and FEP. Previous owner's envelope (with illustrations and a letter from the Ashmolean Museum) attached to the rear pastedown. Some tears to the inner rear hinge; the binding is a little exposed between some pages, but generally remains sound throughout. Light marks and occasional nicked edges to the pages throughout however all content remains clear. CM. Good.
