Covers are toned at spine and rubbed along edges and at corners. Watermark to lower spine foot corner of rear cover on volume II. Binding staples visible at spine sides. Boards and spines are straight, binding is tight. Pastedowns, FEP and REP are all in leather, with the FEP of each volume embossed with a design and "Ex-Libris Henry Arthur Johnstone." Light tanning of the endpapers and there is some light foxing to prelims and final few pages in both volumes. Text remains clean and clear throughout. Very good condition. AD. Very Good.
