Used, Hardcover, complete 3-volume set, fully bound in dark green leather with gilt borders to front and rear, spine with 4 raised bands and gilt printing, marbled page block and marbled endpapers. Publish date not printed, presume ca. 1830. Volumes I&II text, Volume III plates. Each volume features previous owner's bookplate with family crest (MacKenzie, Fawley Court) featuring the words "Always Faithful, Luceo Non Uro" on a banner above and images of a stags head and a hanging body below. Spines are all scuffed and worn, as are board edges and corners, plus some light shelf wear and scoring to front and rear on each. Foxing to a few pages of Vol. III, otherwise the internal contents remain clean and unmarked, binding is sound and spines are tight. AD. Very Good.
