Former property of the Cripplegate Institute, bearing their stamp on many internal pages, but never on the text or illustrations. Additional perforated stamps to title page and final text page. Boards are rubbed along edges, chipped at spine ends and tanned at spine. Small hinge break at FEP, light penned notation to Part I facing page and faint thumb marks some internal pages. Foxing to endpapers and a couple of other pages. Extremely good condition considering age. AD. Very Good.
