Very scarce, including a charming engraved folding frontispiece depicting four species of fish and different methods for catching them. Contemporary calf binding with gilt decoration, front board is detached and there is ware to the spine ends, corners and rubbing/ scuffing throughout. Slight staining to the page block but no major issues internally, light foxing but the text remains very clear. One of four variant imprints in this year, the only one in W&S and with ESTC recording only 3 copies. 2 previous owner's bookplates on the front pastedown and FEP. DP. Good.
