Segmented spines with contrasting panels, raised bands and gilt tooling to the bands. Uniform condition to all volumes apart from volume I which has a cracked front hinge. There is wear to the extremities with rubbed patches to the edges, corners and the boards. Small nicks to the spine ends, volume II slightly worse at the head. Internally there is some minor foxing throughout but the text is bright and clear. Stunning engravings throughout all present and clean. DP. Very Good.
