Printed for private circulation these are the letters of an Eton house master to his old boys and associates. The letters are edited by Allen Beville Ramsay with the assistance of M.R. Jame, writer of ghost stories (who also wrote the preface to this book) and C.R.L. Fletcher, the English historian, all three of whom were tutored by Luxmoore at Eton College. Original cloth hardcover with edgewear, fading and a few minor marks; the spine foot is a little bumped. The upper edge of the spine label is chipped (spare spine label tipped in on the last page). Light foxing and tanning on some of the rough cut pages. Bookshop sticker on the front pastedown. The binding is sound and all content is clear. CM. Good.
