Bookplate on front pastedown, possibly designed by Kappey; initials on the bookplate suggest 'FEK', 1901. The leading corners and spine ends are bumped and worn. Some lighter wear to the boards and spine face; shelfmark on the latter. Pen marks on the title page and dedication page. A few light marks, creases and nicked edges on the rough cut pages throughout. A small portion of the BEP is chipped on the gutter, with some abrasions on both the BEP and rear pastedown.
