Small amount of fabric loss on lower front leading corner of Vol. 1. Leading corners of Vol. 2 are quite bumped. Name and location, probably of former owner, are penned in copperplate script on endpapers. Place stamps on front pastedown and title page of Vol. 1. Vol. 2 has marbled pastedowns and endpapers with some patchy paper loss. Front hinge of Vol. 1 and both hinges of Vol. 2 are cracked. Pages and page block are a little tanned. Binding is very loose at the beginning of Vol. 2. Pen mark on page 177 of volume one. Contents remain clear. AF. Good/No Dust Jacket.
