Covers show some light creases and marks; loss at all four leading corners. Chip on front leading edge. Spine body and sides are worn, with a dent on body and slight loss at bumped ends. Page block discoloured and foxed with a few light marks. Crayon on inside front and rear covers; owner's name and penned gift dedication dated 1946 on FEP, which also shows some grubby marks. Pages within show slight grubby marks and age-related stains, not obscuring text. Leading corners of all pages are variously bent, lightly creased or dog-eared. Loss at lower leading corner and leading edge of FEP. p.27 & 29 horizontally torn across around two-thirds of width near upper edge, remain legible. Despite wear from age, illustrations are bright and all content remains clear, with sound binding throughout. TS. Acceptable.
