Description: London, T. Cadell. 1824. hardcover. Used, Hardcover. Ten volumes. Leather bound with gilt spines, volumes I, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII with original title lables still in place. All volumes have wear at edges, leading corners and spine ends. Front and rear boards, and spine body, of all volumes, are marked and scuffed to some degree, with some deep scores, but remain in good condition for age. Page blocks are marked. Endpapers of all volumes are foxed, with pages throughout the texts less so. Small book plate (Henry Roscoe - legal writer) on front pastedown of each volume. Pages throughout the volumes are very sligthtly warped, but remain clear and legible, and in very good condition for age. Title-pages of volumes I and II have tanned mark from frontispiece on opposite page. Volume I has partailly detached front board, although item remains intact. Page 222 of volume VI has a vertical crease along its leading edge, slightly affecting the first nine lines of text. Page 439 of volume VIII is loose, but remains attached, this volume also has a stain on the page block face. Items are in good general condition, and text is clear throughout. TH.
