Two tears at top of volume two's spine. Shelfworn. Small marks and rubbing on spine and boards. Split binding between front paste down and FEP of volume 1. All volumes have tanned pages with small marks throughtout book, especially on first and last dozen or so pages. Pages foxed and grubby. Volume 1 is soiled on half title page leaving a faint mirror-like copy of the picture on the previous page. Large liquid stain on back of contents page on volume 2. Wear and creasing to some pages. Gilt page block slightly grubby. J. Acceptable/No Dust Jacket.
