Description: The Children's Newspaper. 1943. Hardcover. Used, No jacket. Large hardcover with worn, scored and stained cloth boards. Leading corners are all bent, especially frayed at bottom front with a tear in the fabric approx. 1in. Wear on all edges, with denting on top and abrasion on front leading. Spine faded, stained, and bumped and frayed on top and bottom with loss at top. While the front board remains attached, there are tears along front spine side by binding. Page block yellowed, scuffed and grubby. Endpapers and pastedowns foxed, aged and grubby, with gift dedication on front pastedown and further writing on FEP. Contents comprise newspaper sheets; first page creased; many at front have slightly frayed edges; all are tanned and aged but remain clear. Good/No Dust Jacket.
