There is mention of a commander Zur Laubitz and a 'colonel reformé'. Some browning on the edges, torn on folds. With signatures 'Louis' by King Louis XIV and 'Chamillart' by his Minister of War Michel Chamillart (1652-1721). This is the run-up of the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714). Lille was the strongest fortress of the French defense belts.
